Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute Holds Summer Courses in Toronto

Some of the participants of the Sheptytsky Institute’s 2015 Summer Program, held at St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto. Several other students participated via the internet through distance education. Three courses were offered:

Prof. Brian Butcher taught “Holy Mysteries: Byzantine Sacraments.” Fr. Francois Beyrouti taught “Reading the Bible as an Eastern Christian.” Fr. Andriy Chirovsky taught “Reading The Way of a Pilgrim and the Philokalia in the 21st Century.” Fr. Peter Galadza, Acting Director, co-ordinated the daily liturgical services (Hours, Liturgy and Vespers), and Prof. Butcher (missing from the photo) was the main cantor.

Profs and Students
