The Sheptytsky Institute manages or co-operates on a number of bursaries for Eastern Christian Studies students.

Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF) Sheptytsky Account
Eligible: Ontario resident Sheptytsky Institute students
Amount awarded: reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Applied towards: University fees, tuition, student employment, housing, living expenses
Approving Authority: Director, Sheptytsky Institute

Saint Paul University-Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation (SPU-UCEF) Bursary Partnership Agreement
Eligible: graduate students from Ukraine
Amount awarded: up to $2000 ($1000 x 2 students) per session per student for a maximum of three sessions per year
Applied towards: tuition (usually), other (based on particular need)
Approving Authority: Vice-Rector, Administration, Saint Paul University

Other Sheptytsky Bursaries
Eligible: students in Eastern Christian Studies Program
Amount awarded: varies from year to year
Applied towards: University foreign student fees, health, transportation, Canadian visas, housing and living expenses
Approving Authority: Director, Sheptytsky Institute

Sheptytsky Institute Summer Intensive Program Bursary
Eligible: theology students from the Lviv Theological Academy (Ukraine)
Amount awarded: usually $12,000 US per summer
Applied towards: full bursary (university fees, Canadian visas, transportation, health, living expenses, books, etc.)
Approving Authority: Director, Sheptytsky Institute

Note: Eastern Christian Studies students may also be eligible for a number of scholarships and bursaries available through Saint Paul University or the Faculty of Theology including the automatic admission scholarships.
