Thursdays at Sheptytsky, Oct. 12: Help Us Help the Children

Canadians Helping Orphans Overseas

Speaker: Oksana Hrycyna, teacher at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic High School, with ten years’ experience as a volunteer with Help Us Help the Children (HUHTC), which works to improve the lives of orphans in Ukraine. At HUHTC, Hrycyna has worked in countless fundraising and awareness-raising initiatives and as the head administrator for children’s camps.

HUHTC:  Established in 1993, Help Us Help the Children, a project of registered Canadian Charity Dopomoha Ukraini,has been committed to improving the lives of orphaned and underprivileged children in Ukraine.  Help Us Help the Children organizes, funds and hosts winter and summer camp programs for orphans and organizes humanitarian aid routes, which distribute needed supplies to orphanages throughout Ukraine.
